Description of Palmer Vineyards:
Not the oldest winery on the North Fork (it celebrated its 1Oth anniversary in 1996), Palmer has become a significant part of the Long Island wine industry. Indicative of its position are the comments of wine writer Howard Goldberg who described Palmer as, \"Long Island's most important winery.\" Palmer is sold in 23 States in a network that stretches from Montauk to Florida to California. A well known, popular label in Canada, Palmer wines are also sold in The United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway and Holland. \r\n\r\n
